challenger only after Deontay Wilders sixth defense of the WBC heavyweight title played out as expected and then some. Reebok NHL Youth Cam Ward Black Third Authentic Jersey - #30 Carolina HurricanesThe unbeaten American touched with prodigious power in both hands dropped Bermane Stiverne three times in a spectacularly violent display before referee Arthur Mercante Jr intervened with one second left in the opening round on Saturday night at Brooklyns Barclays Center.Afterward, Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) was asked about the much-fancied heavyweight title unification bout with Britains Anthony Joshua, the IBF and WBA champion regarded by many as the divisions top dog since sending Wladimir Klitschko into retirement at Wembley Stadium earlier this year. Ive been waiting on that fight for a long time now, the 32-year-old Wilder said. I declare war upon you. Do you accept my challenge? ... Ive been waiting for a long time. I know Im the champion, I know Im the best. Are you up for the test? He continued: A king dont chase the peasants. A king takes kings. I want Joshua. If he dont give me the fight we have other plans why should I go to England to fight a peasant without the king on the contract? The world want Joshua, the world want Wilder, I want Joshua. Joshua, come and see me baby. No more dodging, no more dodging, no more excuses make the date, dont wait. The Olympic bronze medalist from Alabama had won the WBCs piece of the long-fractured heavyweight championship from Stiverne on points when they first met nearly three years ago. But the Stiverne who climbed through the ropes on Saturday was a silhouette of the fighter who had offered Wilder so game a challenge in their first meeting, the first and only time the chiseled American has been extended the distance before or since. The Haiti-born, Las Vegas-based mandatory challenger had fought just once in the 34 months since a less-than-scintillating points win over the journeyman Derric Rossy in 2015 and celebrated his 39th birthday this week, uncomfortable truths which no doubt accounted for the 10-1 odds against him. But on Saturday, the lone opponent to last 12 rounds with Wilder could not even make it through one.Wilder came out Womens Wesley Johnson Jersey firing with a stiff left jab as Stiverne fought off the back foot looking for opportunities to counter. Midway through the round Stiverne ventured forward into the pocket but immediately paid a toll as Wilders advantage in hand speed was laid bare. Before long the 6ft 7in champion uncorked a left-right combination that dumped Stiverne to the canvas in a heap. Stiverne (25-3-1, 21 KOs) made it to his feet but Wilder barreled Pat McAfee Jersey in and sent him clattering to the deck once more with another series of looping, clubbing lefts and rights. The challenger bravely beat the count as the end of the round drew near, but Wilder ensured he wouldnt make it to the bell, closing the show with flurry of blows punctuated by a heat-seeking left hand that split Stivernes guard and left his fallen opponent senseless and in a daze amid cheers from the 10,924 spectators on hand.He will put Anthony Joshua to sleep, barked Lou DiBella, who promotes Wilder. No one punches like him, no one has the reach he has, no one has the one-punch power he has. Hes the scariest heavyweight on the planet. Hes Anthony Joshuas biggest test, hes Anthony Joshuas worst nightmare. The punch stats reflected the lopsided flavor of the affair: Wilder landed 15 of 39 punches according to CompuBox, while Stiverne threw a scant four punches and landed none. And while it will do little to dispel the persistent doubts over Wilders caliber of opposition, it was a visceral pageant that will redouble interest in a matchup with Joshua as the pair continue to set themselves apart as the two best on offer in boxings glamour division.Im too athletic, said Wilder, who earned a $1.4m purse for Saturdays fight compared to $500,000 for Stiverne. I told yall Im mobile, Im hostile, I am the king baby and no heavyweight can compare to me. Im very confident in what I do and tonight I showed that. AdvertisementStiverne had emerged as Wilders mandatory challenger only after Saturdays intended opponent, the heavy-handed Luis King Kong Ortiz, flunked a drug test. Wilder had been dealt a similar bad hand last year when the former heavyweight belt-holder Alexander Povetkin tested positive for the banned substance meldonium ahead of their high-profile showdown in Moscow. So much frustration, it just seemed like my career, its been crazy ... so many guys using PEDs, Wilder said. I just want to prove that I am the best. I know I am the best but I want to prove I am the best. One champion, one face, one name, he goes by Deontay Wilder. Joshuas promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, has suggested Wilder should first fight British contender Dillian Whyte, reportedly offering a $3m purse plus the US television rights to the American with a handshake deal to fight Joshua next, but DiBella dismissed that notion with contempt in Saturdays aftermath. Stop with this Dillian Whyte shit, DiBella said. Who the fuck is Dillian Whyte? Come on, Eddie, lets play. You want to do [Joshua-Wilder] at a soccer stadium in the UK, lets do it. Deontay Wilder will put Anthony Joshua to sleep the same way he just put Stiverne to sleep. The winner of Joshua-Wilder is the real heavyweight champion. That fight has to Delano Hill Jersey happen. The boxing fans deserve it. We dont want to wait. Shelly Finkel, Wilders veteran manager, said on Saturday theyre willing to accept Hearns offer to fight White first as long as Joshua is guaranteed next, but said that Hearn has repeatedly balked at the stipulation since the initial negotiations began six weeks ago. Ive been in this game a long time, said Finkel, who managed former heavyweight champions Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Michael Moorer. If someone wants to fight, they fight. Joshua said he wants to fight Deontay next year. Deontay just finished his mandatory, you heard what he wants to do. Joshua finished his mandatory, you havent heard a word from him. If Joshua wants to fight, Deontay is ready. If it means the right deal to go to the UK, hell fight him on the moon. Hell go anywhere to fight him and he said it. Theres no silence, theres no avoiding. Its up to Joshua and if its doesnt happen, he has his reasons.
yet before hes ready to put his Andy Murray, still limping and slyly grimacing as if housing a small pea in a shoe, flexed his working muscles with enough conviction against Roger Federer here on Tuesday night to suggest that a four-month absence from tennis has not impaired his determination to return as soon as he can. Youth Majestic Boston Red Sox #13 Hanley Ramirez Replica White Home Cool Base MLB JerseyNor has it doused his love of the game, and he might yet be back in January as planned, testing himself at the age of 31 in the sub-tropical heat of Brisbane before the Australian Open in Melbourne. Nike NFL Ronnie Lott White Jersey Women's Game: #42 San Francisco 49ers Road There was encouraging evidence in this 1hr 40min exhibition match for Unicef and the Glasgow charity Sunny-sid3up C which Federer won 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 C that Murray could soon be ready to test his injured left hip to the point of super-stress. I felt better than I expected, he said courtside at the end of Womens Zane Beadles Jersey the first set, almost a year to the day since rose to No1 in the world on the back of the most punishing of schedules. I thought I did OK. Ive really missed it and Im just so happy to be back.At the end, he told the 11,000 fans in the SSE Hydro: There are things I would have liked to do better but for my first match in four months it was pretty good. My hip felt pretty good, not perfect yet, but its getting better. This was Murrays first public appearance on court since July, when Sam Querrey put him out of the Wimbledon quarter-finals and out of his misery after a wretched couple of months. An early athletic leap at the net suggested he trusted his body to respond to extravagant movement. Nonetheless, there were wide winners from Federer left well alone that Murray would have hunted down at break point in a slam final. His sideways movement, the real test of his fitness, was adequate, although he was as quick off the mark going forward as he always Womens Zane Beadles Jersey is, and the ball sprung sweetly from his racket much of the time. AdvertisementHere, though, the priorities were entertainment, a gentle exploration of his physical limits C and a little performance pride. While there were was a running thrum of crowd laughter to keep the mood light, the unspoken challenge for both players was to contain their competitive urges, to put on a show in a workout with no significance beyond the obvious: no titles, no prize money, just reassurance that Murray could still compete. He can. But, as he knows, he has a little way to go yet before hes ready to put his feet to the fire.He earlier outlined a schedule slightly less onerous than his usual six-week midwinter training block. My plan is to do a couple of weeks in Miami and then go to Australia very early, much earlier than I have done in the past, he said. Coming into the beginning of the new year I will be at a bit of a disadvantage because I have not played matches for a long time. So, if I can go there a bit earlier to get used to the conditions, a bit sooner than some of the other players, that might help level it up a bit. Federer C who endured the pain and frustration of a seven-month break in 2016 before returning in Melbourne to win his 18th grand slam title C was sympathetic to Murrays ordeal. My best advice is just to get fit again, seriously thats it, he said. Take your time, however long it takes. When you come back, you want to be at 100%, otherwise the problem is you feel you just cant beat the best at the big tournaments. The Swiss entertainer did his bit by wearing a kilt at the start of the second set, smiling at Murrays mid-match observation thats probably the only way Im going to beat him. The gap was not quite that obvious but it was also impossible to ignore C as was the tam-o-shanter, see-you-jimmy wig Federer gave the Scot to wear, to loud applause, in the closing points. At least it covered up my bald patch, Murray said.It was good to see him smiling, and the arrival of a second child for him and his wife, Kim, shortly will soon give him cause for more happiness. He has had the toughest year of his career after the best spell of his career. That is a conjunction of experience he seems well able to accommodate and given the palpable joy he still gets from hitting a tennis ball, there is reason to believe he will be with us for a couple of years yet. As for Brisbane and Melbourne, he said: I hope Im there. Things have been going pretty well so far in the rehab but you just never know. You have setbacks and then things come on quite quickly as well. Ive been training for a few weeks now. Some days Ive felt great, some days not so good C but Im getting there and Ill come back when Im ready and 100 Womens Zane Beadles Jersey per cent fit. He explained for the first time why he chose not to have surgery, having come through an operation four years ago to fix a chronic back problem. There are a few things going on in my hip that I dont need to talk about here, he said. It had been causing me a problem for six, maybe eight weeks, from the French Open right through until I was really struggling by the end of Wimbledon. It became a big issue there and I was, like, I need to get this sorted out, I need to chat to some people. I spoke to a bunch of specialists. Surgery was not recommended for me, and obviously thats great. You never know how youre going to come back from surgery. If you can go a conservative route its better. While lowering expectations that he can emulate Federer, who returned to the Tour in Melbourne last year and won, Murray thinks he can get back to 100% fitness.I believe I will, yes, he said. You never know when youre coming back from any injury, but thats what Im working towards, for sure. When I get back on the court next year and start playing again it might not come immediately at the beginning of the year. I might not play my best tennis straight off, but theres nothing making me think [that he cannot]. There is a difference between 75-80% practice and going flat out at 100% for two-and-a-half or three Womens Zane Beadles Jersey hours on the match court. Until I do that, I cant say for certain C but I think Ill be able to come back just fine. He added: I made probably a bit of a mistake trying to get ready for the US Open [where he withdrew after the draw was made], but it was the last major of the year and I wanted to give it a go. Now its been time to give my body the rest and recovery it needs, and I will come back when Im ready.
were the better team Keane said last week the key to Martin ONeills celebrated motivational acumen boils down to a knack for saying the right thing at the right time. So it was intriguing, on the eve of Tuesdays second leg of the tautly wound World Cup play?off between the Republic of Ireland and Denmark, to hear ONeill tease his captain, David Meyler, about missing penalties in training. Men's Reebok St. Louis Blues #9 Doug Gilmour Premier Navy Blue Third NHL JerseyThere is a real possibility of the match here ending in the same 0-0 scoreline as the first leg on Saturday and, therefore, of a penalty shootout being required. That would determine who advances to the World Cup finals, and who is left to survey the rubble of a 14-month qualification campaign. When asked about that scenario, Meyler declared his confidence he would score from the spot if called. Not many managers would have chosen that moment to bring their players training-ground failures to public attention but ONeill did so with a deadpan interjection. Everyone in the room laughed, except Meyler, who, after being taken by surprise, looked playfully exasperated. ONeill had succeeded in introducing levity into what could have been a heavy preview C but in a pointed way. He defused the tension the occasion while reminding his player talk is cheap. Deeds are sports true currency. For Ireland, this play-off is a balancing act. They must find the right blend between defence and attack, fervour and composure. In Copenhagen they defended with steel but offered little going forward. ONeill knows that must change, at least a little, if they are to score the one goal or more they will need to progress without a shootout. He knows his players must remain focused enough to deny space to inventive Danes such as Christian Eriksen and Thomas Delaney. They must also pass more incisively than they did on Saturday, when they concentrated so hard on keeping the ball away from their own goal they neglected to figure out how to get it near Denmarks. We will try to be that bit more expansive if we can and deal with the ball a wee bit better, ONeill said. Wes Hoolahan often delivers the ideal mixture but usually begins on the bench, where he stayed in the first leg. ONeill did not say whether the Norwich City schemer would start on Tuesday. The suspicion is the only changes will see Meyler return to central midfield so Robbie Brady can shift wide and replace Callum ODowda, while Shane Long may start up front. The Southampton striker has not scored for club or country since February but Denmarks defenders may be more bothered by his mobility than by Daryl Murphys brawn. ONeill hailed his teams fighting qualities but said: It should not be everything in our side because eventually, as well as spirit, you have to be able to play. Meyler reckoned Irelands spirit will give them the edge: Denmark dont have the character, heart and desire we have. The opposing manager, Age Hareide, retorted: He doesnt know us. ONeill referred to his teams record of rising somehow to grand occasions. We are going to try to win the game and will try to find a way to win it, he said. These players have been able to do that in the last couple of years. Teams of similar or higher standing to Denmark can Danny Amendola Authentic Jersey vouch for that, including Germany, Italy, Bosnia?Herzegovina, Austria and Wales C all beaten by Ireland in high-stakes showdowns. In this campaign, Irelands best performances came away from home. They scored only four goals in their five group games in Dublin. Hareide highlighted this fact and referred to the possession and pass completion statistics from the first leg, which were heavily in Denmarks favour. He is not buying ONeills attacking talk. Ireland will play the same way, he said. They just want us to make mistakes. Thats OK. I havent got the patience to play like that. Well try to attack. Denmark (4-3-3, probable): Schmeichel; Ankersen, Kjaear, Bjelland, Larsen; Eriksen, Kvist, Delaney; Poulsen, Cornelius, Sisto.Michael ONeill condemned the cruelty of Northern Irelands World Cup play-off defeat by Switzerland after they were ultimately denied a place in Russia by the controversial first-leg penalty. The Northern Ireland manager also insisted it was too soon to say whether elimination marked the end of an era for himself and several senior players. Northern Ireland produced a vastly improved performance in Basel but a goalless draw sent Switzerland through to a fourth consecutive World Cup finals thanks to Ricardo Rodrguezs penalty in Belfast. Rodrguez was also on hand to clear a Jonny Evans header off the line in stoppage time in the second leg, increasing Northern Irelands torment.I wasnt aware it was Rodrguez but the cruelty is in the poorness of the decision that means we are missing out on the chance to go to a World Cup, a distraught ONeill said. That is the cruelty. We should still be playing extra time now, that is the reality. Yes, Switzerland were the better team in the first leg but they didnt score other than the penalty. We were the better team tonight. For us to miss out because of that mistake, at this level and with those group of players whove given everything, is extremely cruel. We should be out on the pitch now fighting for a place in Russia. ONeill revealed several Northern Ireland players were in tears in the dressing room after the game and that, for the likes of 38-year-old Aaron Hughes and 37-year-old Gareth McAuley, their dreams of playing at a World Cup are, in effect, over. The manager said: My first emotion is absolute devastation. It would have been disappointing if wed just lost but it is devastating because of the manner of how we lost and the goal that decided the tie. I couldnt have asked for more from the players. Their level of performance was phenomenal and I told them afterwards it was a privilege to be their manager tonight. After five and a half years this is clearly a devastating moment but in terms of the character of a team it is also a high point. We went toe to toe with a team that reached the last 16 of the last Euros Authentic Danny Amendola Jersey and the last World Cup and the tie has been decided by a penalty that should never have been. The players are emotional and upset. There were some players in tears afterwards. Everyone was struggling to hold back their emotions. For some of these players its unlikely the World Cup will come around again. Oliver Norwood, the Northern Ireland midfielder, put it succinctly. Shafted is the only word for it, he said. Its not just the penalty decision as the tackle Fabian Sch?r made on Stuart Dallas in Belfast was a red card. I will think about the penalty decision for years to come as its the only goal between the two sides and its knocked us out. ONeills future with Northern Ireland is open to doubt given his outstanding achievements at international level. Scotland are believed to be keen to lure the Edinburgh-based manager to replace Gordon Strachan, but ONeill insisted no one connected with Northern Ireland needs to decide their futures in the immediate aftermath of the play-off exit. I havent even considered that, he said. I am under contract until 2020 and tonight is about being with my players, spending time with them and making sure they are OK. I said to the players there is no need to make any rash decisions on anything they want to do. They have given everything. They will make decisions going forward. Certainly the likes of Aaron and Gareth at 38 and 37, and Chris Brunt, these players have had long and established Northern Ireland careers but, for me, they have time to make that decision. We dont have a qualifier until next March so there is lot of time for that, and certainly at this moment in time its not a decision to be made. I am not thinking any further ahead than just being with the players.

I am not thinking any further ahead than just being with the playersMichael ONeill resembled a mourner at a funeral as he walked across a mud-splattered pitch in Switzerland wearing a long black coat to console his distraught players. How apt. The dream of a first World Cup appearance in 32 years has died for Northern Ireland and all because of a disgraceful penalty decision in Belfast three days earlier. It may prove the end of an era, not simply of another remarkable campaign. Northern Ireland held their own against the team ranked 11th in the world and were agonisingly close to taking the play-off to extra time when Jonny Evanss injury-time header sailed goalwards. Yann Sommer, the Switzerland goalkeeper, was awol having missed Chris Brunts deep cross but Ricardo Rodrguez came to his countrys rescue with a clearance on the line. It would have to be Rodrguez, who scored the controversial penalty that ultimately decided the team heading to Womens Ryan Suter Jersey Russia next summer. Another cruel twist for ONeill and his players. The cruelty is in the poorness of the decision that means we are missing out on the chance to go to a World Cup, the Northern Ireland manager said. That is the cruelty. We should still be out there playing extra time. Northern Irelands sense of injustice will harden given the consequence of Ovidiu Hategans incompetence but ONeill was rightly proud of how it was channelled in Basel. Several parallels with last summers European Championship defeat of Ukraine gave cause for optimism before kick-off and, if that appeared wishful thinking in the face of a daunting predicament, it was substantiated by a vastly improved second-leg performance. If only the result had been the same. He also recalled Aaron Hughes at right?back, thereby making the 38-year-old the most capped home nations defender of all time, surpassing Bobby Moores record of 108 international appearances. There was also a torrential downpour in Basel to echo the hailstorm that temporarily halted proceedings in Lyon. The pitch at St Jakob-Park was sodden and inspected twice before the game was given the go-ahead. Northern Ireland players conducted their warm-up around ground staff who were throwing buckets of sand on to the pitch to absorb visible patches of water. Passing was inevitably complicated, although Northern Irelands recovery was the most striking feature here. With Washington working tirelessly across the front line, Oliver Norwood shining in central midfield and Gareth McAuley commanding in central defence, the visitors rediscovered the form that secured a runners-up spot in qualifying. Granit Xhahas pre-match assertion that Switzerlands fortunate penalty would prove an irrelevance to the overall result was quickly in doubt. ONeills side did not manage one shot on target in the first leg. Here they created four decent openings inside 16 minutes, stinging the goalkeeper Sommers palms twiceYou had that, right? And by we, I mean me and Case Keenum, who seems as amused about whats going on with him and the Vikings as anyone. Just feels good, is all, Keenum said after throwing for 304 yards, four touchdowns and two keep-em-in-the-game second-half interceptions in the Vikings 38-30 victory over Washington here Sunday. I love this squad, I love this team, I love this offense, I love these coaches and were having fun. Yeah, 7-2 is fun, no doubt, and the Vikings are feeling no pain right now. Theyve won five games in a row, increasing their point total each week, and hold a two-game lead in the NFC North on both the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. This past week, they put Week 1 starting quarterback Sam Bradford on injured reserve and activated former starter Teddy Bridgewater. The latters return to the starting lineup might feel like a foregone conclusion to lots of folks around the team, and certainly to most on the outside. But career backup Keenum doesnt seem too bothered by any of it. Teddys a fan favorite. Hes my favorite, too, Keenum said. I may have a Teddy Bridgewater jersey at home. Teddy definitely raises the cool factor of the quarterback group. Tremendously. Thats Keenum, Womens Ryan Suter Jersey talking about the guy everybody thinks is about to take his job. Thats where the Vikings are right now. Theyre 7-2 and dont seem all-the-way sure about how. Case played outstanding, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said, then in the next breath, I wish the two throws he had in the second half he would not have made. But you know, hes an excitable guy and he needs to understand what are the good plays and what are the bad plays sometimes. Said Keenum the Excitable: I need to not make a bad play worse. I gave them a couple of gifts. You wonder, looking ahead, how long this can last. The Vikings play two very tough games in the next 11 days -- home this Sunday to the first-place Rams and then at Detroit on Thanksgiving. Two straight road games in Atlanta and Carolina follow that, and by the time theyre through that gantlet well have some better idea about how good the Vikings are, what their best option is at quarterback and what their chances are of becoming the first team to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium. Its not crazy to imagine this team as a real contender. The Vikings made the playoffs as division champs two years ago and started 5-0 last season before a brutal run of injury attrition on the offensive line cost them any chance of making good on that. They hit the line hard in free agency, brought back the core of a smothering defense, and their wide receiver duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs makes a case as the very best in the NFL. You could convince yourself that theyre a quarterback away, but the way Keenums playing, that may be underselling them. There was talk after the game from Zimmer about being able to play better with a big lead, but he said it while kind of shaking his head -- as if amazed like the rest of us that thats a problem the Keenum-led Vikings confront. And the defense sure didnt love seeing Kirk Cousins & Co. put 30 points on the board. But the standings label the Vikings a contender, and that means theres a foundation something coolYeah, wins, they all count the same, Vikings safety Harrison Smith said. Obviously, from a defensive side, we dont want to give up that many points, so theres a lot of work to be done there. But a wins a win. We did enough to win. The NFC is upside down. The Seahawks are chasing the high-octane Rams. The Saints have a smothering defense and their run game cant be stopped. Carson Wentz is the conferences best quarterback so far. The Falcons cant seem to get clicking. The Cowboys are playing without their offensive engine. The Panthers and Lions keep finding ways to win ugly. The Packers are doing what they can without Aaron Rodgers. The top team in the conference took the week off. The teams right behind the Eagles kept the heat on. Theres no way to know what the rest of the season holds for Keenum, Bridgewater and the gang, but if youre in first place in the NFC right now and youre thinking "Why not us?" -- who can blame you?

The Wildcats will have to be much better against Kansas on Tuesday. After West Virginia opened up a 13-point first-half lead, it was all Texas A&M, as the Aggies ended up cruising to an 88-65 win. Remember, Texas A&M's likely starting point guard, J.J. Caldwell, is suspended for five games, and projected lottery pick Robert Williams is out for three games. No one would have been surprised if the Aggies were run ragged by Press Virginia. But T.J. Starks and Duane Wilson filled in admirably at the point guard spot, while veterans Tyler Davis, Admon Gilder and D.J. Hogg led the way. But the performance was concerning for West Virginia. While talking to UCLA players at Alibaba on Monday, he made it a point to single out freshman guard Jaylen Hands and tell him he watched him play the Bishops School while Hands was at Foothills Christian last year. "Every young person makes mistakes, but the key point is how they will handle it after making the mistake," Tsai said before the game Saturday. "I think sometimes things can be very complicated, and the last couple of days I've seen firsthand professionalism on all sides." Before the game in Shanghai on Saturday, the Pac-12 announced that next year's China Game would be a matchup between Cal and Yale; Alibaba extended its sponsorship of the game through 2020. up become even bette Harden's finish against the Cavs wasn't a thing of beauty by any stretch. After a stretch so efficient it looks like a typo (88 points on 38 field goal attempts in the previous seven quarters), he was 1-of-8 in the fourth quarter and missed his final six shots as the Cavs rallied to almost steal the game. Youth Replica Majestic Joe Crede Green Jersey - #24 MLB Chicago White Sox Salute To ServiceIt shouldn't come as a surprise that Harden's shots consistently came up short down the stretch. He played a season-high 43 minutes, including the entire second half with Luc Mbah a Moute joining Paul in street clothes while nursing his own bruised left knee, leaving the Rockets with essentially a seven-man rotation. And Harden worked hard for his buckets and trips to the line -- his 14 free throws matched the Cavs' Womens Deshaun Watson Jersey team total -- creating off the dribble possession after possession after possession. (Poor Jeff Green played perhaps the best defensive possession of his life in the third quarter, twice denying Harden's attempts to drive, only to have his eye dotted by a step-back 3.) Limited Nike Youth Kyle Williams White Road Jersey: NFL #15 Denver Broncos"I was good," Harden said, dismissing fatigue as a factor in the fourth quarter, when Clint Capela (19 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks) was the lone Rocket to score in the final 8:01. He had to do some dirty work to get this win. "We ask a lot of him, but when you've got more money than the state of Texas, you're going to be asked a lot," D'Antoni said with a laugh, referring to Harden signing the richest contract in NBA history over the summer. "That's just the way it is." Harden's usage rate (35.2 percent) is the highest of his career, tied for the 25th highest in league history. He's averaging a career-high 29.9 points and boasts the best shooting percentages (45.7 from the floor, 40.6 on 3s) since becoming a go-to guy upon his arrival in Houston. How did the MVP runner-up become even better at the age of 28? Harden shrugged -- "I don't know. Work." -- but Brown knows exactly how.that Harden's shots consistently came up short down the stretch. He played "He's in better shape," said Brown, a longtime friend of Harden's who trained with him in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Houston over the summer. "He shredded a lot of weight. Harden won't have to create every possession when he shares the court with PaulHowever, team insiders anticipate that Paul will have to adjust to playing off the ball much more often than Harden. The Rockets are still Harden's team. Their aspirations to emerge as legitimate title contenders depend in large part on Harden accomplishing his goal of always being the best player on the court. "We rely on him, and we'll always rely on him," D'Antoni said. "But I do see in a week or so that we'll get Chris Paul back and take a lot of that off of him. The season's long. Tonight's focus was to win this game. Then we've gotta worry about Saturday, but we'll get through this and get Chris back and Mbah a Moute back, and then his minutes load and what we expect of him will decrease some The possibility of stopping right there, in the winter of 2015 with those two extra picks, haunts the Suns. They could have stood pat and gone forward with Thomas, Bledsoe, Marcus and Markieff Morris, Alex Len (the No. 5 pick in the 2013 draft, and McDonough's first pick as GM), TJ Warren (the 14th pick in 2014), a pick in the upcoming 2015 draft, boundless cap flexibility, and most promising of all, a lightly protected pick from the Lakers -- via the Nash trade -- that was among the jewels of the league. That isn't a golden ticket to 55 wins. Len has been a disappointment considering he went five spots above CJ McCollum, 10 above Giannis Antetokounmpo, and 22 above Rudy Gobert. Every team has draft regrets like that. Half the league missed on Antetokounmpo. Damn near the entirety it passed on Gobert. But it's a nice foundation of trade chips, veterans, and prospects. For a moment, the Suns could have lived the dream: compete for the playoffs now, with a cupboard stocked for tomorrow. Straddling both paths at the same time is perhaps the hardest team-building challenge in sports. Phoenix had done it. The Suns opted out of the scenario in a series of confusing moves that upended everything. Minutes after flipping Dragic, they dealt Thomas to Boston in exchange for a low first-round pick, and then surrendered the Lakers pick for Brandon Knight. It was puzzling then, or at least incredibly high risk. It has morphed into the sort of fork-in-the-road moment that can destabilize a franchise for years. McDonough has already said he would like a "mulligan" for the Thomas deal. "It is a deal," he says, "that we get criticized for." It's hard to remember now, but the majority of NBA insiders back then viewed the Lakers as a free agency juggernaut that might sign their way back to mediocrity in 2015-16 -- devaluing the pick Phoenix traded. They struck out, repeatedly and sometimes embarrassingly, before Jeanie Buss ordered a regime change. The pick still hasn't conveyed; it is unprotected now, and will go in this draft to either Philadelphia or Boston. It was a crown jewel after all. Five months after those trades, nudged on by an owner intoxicated by that 48-win season and who badly wanted to end Phoenix's playoff drought, the Suns signed Chandler, then almost 33, to a four-year, $52 million contract. They then used Chandler as bait for LaMarcus Aldridge. "I am not a real patient person," Sarver told Grantland that summer. To crack open space for Aldridge, Phoenix dumped Marcus Morris onto the Pistons. They would likely have moved Markieff Morris then, too, had Aldridge come, but dealing Marcus away fractured their relationship with Mar

former MLB pitcher Roy Halladay Roy Halladay, a two-time Cy Young Award-winning pitcher who retired from baseball nearly four years ago, died when his plane crashed into the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday. He was 40. Nike Matt Breida Men's Black Limited Jersey: #22 NFL San Francisco 49ers 2016 Salute To ServicePasco County Sheriff Nocco said during a news conference that Halladay's ICON A5, a small single-engine aircraft, went down around noon Tuesday off the coast of Florida. The sheriff's office marine unit responded and found Halladay's body in shallow water near some mangroves. No survivors were found. Police said they couldn't confirm if there were additional passengers on the plane or say where it was headedNocco said the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash. "All of us at Baseball are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic passing of former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay," MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement. "A well-respected figure throughout the game, Roy was a fierce competitor during his 16-year career, which included eight All-Star selections, two Cy Young Awards, a perfect game and a postseason no-hitter. "On behalf of Major League Baseball, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, including his wife, Brandy, and two sons, Ryan and Braden, his friends and countless fans, as well as the Blue Jays and Phillies organizations." Halladay received his pilot's license several years ago and tweeted photos last month of himself standing next to a new ICON A5 as part of the plane's marketing campaign. In a story posted last month on ICON's website to promote the A5, Halladay said he had "been dreaming about flying since I was a boy but was only able to become a pilot once I retired from baseball." In a video posted on ICON's website, Halladay said the terms of his baseball contract prevented him from having a pilot's license while playing and that his wife was originally against the idea of him getting the aircraft"Hard. I fought hard. I was very against it,'' Brandy Halladay said in the same video, before explaining why she eventually understood and approved of her husband's desire to have the plane. The video was removed from YouTube later Tuesday. Halladay's father was a corporate pilotThe A5 was a newer model from ICON, based in Vacaville, California. It's a two-seat "light-sport aircraft" that can land on water. On May 8, two ICON employees, the company's lead test pilot and the director of engineering, were killed in a crash in an A5 in Napa County, California. The NTSB report indicated the probable cause was "the pilot's failure to maintain clearance from terrain while maneuvering at a low altitude." "We were devastated to learn that former MLB pitcher Roy Halladay died today in an accident involving an ICON A5 in the Gulf of Mexico," the company said in a statement. "We have gotten to know Roy and his family in recent months, and he was a great advocate and friend of ours. The entire ICON community would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Roy's family and friends. ICON will do everything it can to support the accident investigation going forward, and we will comment Richie Incognito Youth jerseyfurther when more information is available." Nocco said Tuesday that Halladay was a "personal friend of our sheriff's office" and that it is a "sad day for us here in Pasco County." "Being a pilot, flying planes, that was his passion," Nocco said. "He would talk about it, about refurbishing planes." Halladay was an eight-time All-Star who went 203-105 with a 3.38 ERA in his 16-year career with the Blue Jays and Phillies. He threw a perfect game with the Phillies during the 2010 season. And on Oct. 6 of year, against the Cincinnati Reds in the National League Division Series, he became only the second pitcher to throw a postseason no-hitter, joining Don Larsen, who accomplished the feat for the New York Yankees in the 1956 World Series. In a statement, the Phillies said, "There are no words to describe the sadness that the entire Phillies family is feeling over the loss of one of the most respected human beings to ever play the game." Added team chairman David Montgomery of Halladay at a news conference later Tuesday: "All-Star pitcher. All-Star person. All-Star father and family man." Halladay signed a one-day contract with Toronto in December 2013 so he could retire as a member of the Blue Jays, the team with which he spent the first 12 years of his career. "The Toronto Blue Jays organization is overcome by grief with the tragic loss of one of the franchise's greatest and most respected players, but even better human being," the team said in a statement. "It is impossible to express what he has meant to this franchise, the city and its fans. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends." Halladay won the 2003 American League Cy Young Award and went 148-76 with a 3.43 ERA in 12 seasons with the Blue Jays. He was traded to the Phillies after the 2009 season and won the NL Cy Young in 2010. He is eligible for the Hall of Fame in 2019. In recent years, Halladay had become a mental coach for Phillies minor leaguers. appropriate in the was easy to lapse into cynicism glancing at the statement, published on Chelseas website, that announced Michael Emenalos decision to stand down. The quotes detailed regret, board and owner having attempted to persuade him to stay, with the penultimate paragraph drawn from Antonio Conte. I am very sorry to see Michael leave, said the Italian, who expressed thanks for all the support offered up by the technical director since arriving at the club. I have enjoyed with him very much. Elite Micah Hyde Youth Road White Nike Jersey - #23 NFL Buffalo Bills Vapor Untouchable This club have always been prone to political intrigue and power grabs, so it would be easy to raise an eyebrow at the head coachs eulogy. Conte, after all, had scowled through the summer, firing off text messages seeking updates on transfer business from his Mediterranean beach retreat, apparently livid at the champions inability to secure the players on his wishlist, from Alex Sandro to Romelu Lukaku, Rick Porcello Jerseyeither early in the window or at all. Recruitment came under the remit of Emenalo and the director, Marina Granovskaia. Now one of those figures has departed, his decision apparently taken when relationships were most strained. Instinct might suggest Contes position might, in fact, be bolstered. Yet in the days that follow it may become clearer how Emenalo will actually be missed, in boardroom and dugout alike. Granovskaia has taken on his day-to-day duties until a replacement is found, with figures such as Eddie Newton, the loan technical coach, and Scott McLachlan, head of international scouting, reporting directly to her while a potentially busy January window edges ever closer. The workload is onerous. Conte, meanwhile, will hardly be able to persuade Roman Abramovich to appoint one of his own associates as a replacement and, in many ways, he would look to have lost an ally in Emenalo. There may have been flashpoints over the the start of the season Gerard Piqu admitted that for the first time he felt inferior. Barcelona had just lost the Super Cup: Real Madrid had scored five, Barcelona just one C and that was a penalty. Neymar had gone, 11 days after Piqu announced he was staying and 16 days since the vice-president said he was 200% sure he wouldnt leave. Coutinho hadnt come yet and wouldnt come at all. In the editors office at El Mundo Deportivo, walls shook too, phones rang and, near midnight, presses stopped, a front page hurriedly changed from Seri Day to No to Seri. Seri said his dream had been broken; for Bar?a, the nightmare seemed never-ending. The former president went to jail and the players call the current president Nobito, after a timid, naive and hapless cartoon character whose friend is a robot cat. When, that is, they dont call him worse. Neymar called the board a joke and threatened to take them to court; the feeling is mutual. That very day, he was back in Barcelona posing, all smiles, with the team-mates and best mates he had left behindsummer but, despite the head coach blanking his technical director on the touchline on Sunday as he departed the pitch still pumped up and punching the air in triumph, the tension had apparently eased in that relationship. Emenalo had been generally supportive as the frustration simmered behind the scenes over a title defence Conte has regularly described as in a state of emergency. The 52-year-old clearly offered some stability over a decade where upheaval has been common but he also provided an element calm in an emotive boardroom. When others in the hierarchy might be railing C say, perhaps, when it comes to a manager under pressure C he would be the one arguing for patience, for a pause for breath, for simple common senseThe outside world will be drawn to the interview given to the clubs internal television channel back in December 2015 when he pointed to palpable discord between manager and players as justification for Jos Mourinhos dismissal, and never mentioned the Portuguese by name. That was toeing the party line in the extreme, yet most around the club were startled that a figure who has generally shied from the limelight should offer such an explosive soundbite. It did not seem to be his style. He was also a lightning rod. A disgruntled support poured their scorn on him over that interview and the show of disrespect for Mourinho at a time when their own frustrations were being taken out on underachieving players. They had been just as aghast when he replaced Ray Wilkins as an assistant under Carlo Ancelotti back in the Italians difficult moment in the autumn of 2010, pointing to Emenalos patchy and unspectacular coaching career. When transfers failed to materialise, Lukaku joined Manchester United or Ross Barkley and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had second thoughts, it was invariably Emenalo who bore the brunt. He may have played a part in those failures, or the purchase of other players who have not made the grade, but he invariably drew the bulk of the criticism. Now the boards safety net has gonePerhaps all the abuse ground him down in the end. Emenalo has three young children, boys of 11, nine and seven, and the last decade must have drained him. It is entirely my decision and it has come about for very simple reasons, he told Chelsea TV. I need an opportunity to get to see my young kids grow and also to step back and reflect on the work I have done here. This is not a knee-jerk decision. It has been on my mind and it has been thoroughly discussed among friends and colleagues. At my age and after 10 years of demanding and gruelling and all-encompassing work, [this] is very necessary. It was also appropriate in the timing. Englands senior squad joined up at St Georges Park on Monday with its Chelsea representatives, Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, both young players of considerable promise on Emenalos list of loanees. He would point to their progress as evidence that the plan instigated over the last six years is reaping rewards, with a glance at the significant contingent of Chelsea players in Englands hugely successful junior teams an Rick Porcello Jersey indication that there is plenty more to come. He certainly helped make the whole process self-sustainable. Maligned as he was from the outside, those within the club truly valued Emenalo. Those tributes may just have been heartfelt after allmemories of Manchester United in 1985-86 and Newcastle United in 1995-96 serve always as caveats, but already it feels that it would take something outlandish for Manchester City not to be named as champions this season. Perhaps their slick cogs and gears will somehow stick or grind, but at the moment none of the chasing pack are applying pressure. The gap already is eight points and, once again, on Sunday, it was hard to avoid the thought that there has been something meek in the way Jos Mourinho has presented the initiative to his rivals. When United defeated Ajax to win the Europa League, Mourinho spoke of it as a victory for pragmatism. It is a term that is frequently applied to his football, and football generally has a tendency to use pragmatic as a synonym for defensive. But they are not the same: a pragmatist does what is necessary to win; Mourinho insists on reactive football again and again, even when it means losing ground. The three games in the past month against top-six sides were always likely to represent a decisive phase of the season. In them United totalled six shots on target C and that suggests an approach that is not pragmatic, but is rather stubbornly dogmatic. Yes, this was Chelsea and, yes, they are the defending champions. But City came to Stamford Bridge, dominated the game and won 1-0. United, frankly, never looked like winning. They were not as defensive as they had been in the FA Cup tie here last season when they fielded a back six, but nor was there ever a thought of them taking the game to Chelsea as Pep Guardiola had, of trying to expose a defence that had been given such a tough time in recent games by Roma (twice) and Watford. Chelsea with NGolo Kant, admittedly, are a different proposition to Chelsea without him, and there was no question that Antonio Contes side improved with his return after injury. But still, it was hard to see how United ever planned to hurt Chelsea. Early on, as Ander Herrera was lured towards Eden Hazard, Timou Bakayoko, playing on the left of Chelseas midfield triangle, kept finding space to charge into. Which might in itself have been decisive had he not been Timou Bakayoko and therefore lacking the composure that might have turned those opportunities into goals. That avenue, though, was soon closed down, with Phil Jones and, particularly, Eric Bailly stepping out to close down Hazard, leaving Herrera to block the channel Bakayoko had been exploitingThe use of a back three gave United the option of pushing one of the central defenders out to deal with Hazard and preventing just that problem, but the issues that had cropped up against Tottenham Hotspur last week recurred. Much was played long to the two forwards, which effectively diminished Henrikh Mkhitaryans role to the point that he may as well not have been there. The Armenians 62 minutes on the pitch yielded just 29 touches C although that was at least five more than an isolated Romelu Lukaku managed in a full game. And then there was the issue of the midfield. Even excluding Hazard, who occasionally dropped deep, Chelsea had three central midfielders there. United had two plus Mkhitaryan, which meant they were occasionally overmanned, a problem exacerbated by the fact that Chelseas wing-backs were, understandably, more aggressive. That was what led to the first Bakayoko chance, as Davide Zappacosta got in behind Ashley Young, and it was a shortfall on that flank that led Rick Porcello Jersey to the goal. Young was forced deep to prevent Zappacosta making a similar run behind him and as Chelsea switched the ball quickly from their left to right, Csar Azpilicueta was able to stride forward into space and measure his cross for lvaro Morata. Mourinho almost immediately changed tack, went to a 4-3-3, and United became more threatening as a result, while suddenly becoming vulnerable again to those Bakayoko surges. Marouane Fellaini, back after a knee injury, spread the kind of chaos he always does, and nearly equalised. But, whatever absentees United have C Mourinho once again reluctantly listed the injured Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo C it remains bewildering that United can seem so reliant on the Belgian bag of elbows for anything approximating to creativity. United, in fairness, were probably more proactive here than they had been against either Liverpool or Tottenham. But in the context of dropped points against Liverpool and Huddersfield, it was not enough

He missed Dave Concepcion Womens Jersey three potential long touchdowns in the first half, including a pass to Sterling Shepard deep down the middle of the field that likely would've gone for a 75-yard score in the second quarter. He later missed an open Tavarres King in the end zone on consecutive plays before halftime. "It's disappointing," McAdoo said. "We had chances down the field. We got to make those throws and make those catches. It's pro football. We got to catch them on all opportunities Dave Concepcion Womens Jersey like that. You don't get many in the game." But the Giants' problems stretch beyond their quarterback. They're missing star wide receiver Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall, who are out for the season with injuries. Their defense also has failed to live up to expectations, and their special teams have been troublesome. The offense isn't operating smoothly, no matter who is at quarterback. The Giants are averaging just over 16 points a game, near the bottom of the leagueOn Sunday, five different Giants combined to seven passes, according to ESPN Stats & Information. It was their most drops since Week 15 Dave Concepcion Womens Jersey of the 2007 season. Manning and the 1-7 Giants are closer to the No. 1 overall pick than playoff contention in this disastrous season. It's likely to be the fifth time in six years they miss the postseason. The Giants, who play the 49ers next Sunday in San Francisco, would have the third overall pick if the season ended after Week 9A storied NFL franchise with an all-time great quarterback at the controls got blown out Sunday. That team was the Denver Broncos. The all-time great quarterback is John Elway, the team's top football executive since 2011 and general manager since 2012. Embarrassing as the 51-23 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles might have been, the outcome could not have surprised even a Broncos optimist. Philly is rolling behind dynamic young quarterback Carson Wentz. Denver lacks the ground game and pass protection to support its lower-tier quarterbacks, and if 2016 first-round pick Paxton Lynch does not clear those hurdles when his turn behind center inevitably comes, then what? The Broncos' four-game slide into a 3-5 record at their season's midpoint has been brewing Dave Concepcion Womens Jersey for a while. Denver was 9-7 last season despite a statistically dominant defense. Vegas oddsmakers set the Broncos' win total at eight in 2017 under the assumption little would change. Peyton Manning's retirement and a series of less-than-stellar drafts are taking a toll, bringing Elway face to face with the next challenge in his Mile High executive tenure. Elway has long relished the challenge born of great responsibility. A franchise savior as a player, he wasn't content with simply being part of the team. He sought and won full control of the Broncos' football operation, and when results have not met expectations, he has not hesitated making changes that have left him standing as the most responsible party
