She also prepared them for life away from basketball: Every one of Summitts players who finished her career at Tennessee got her college degree. Yes, 100 percent. And playing for Tennessee often meant getting a nice reward at the end of the season: Every Tennessee player who competed from 1976 to 2011 had the chance to play in the Final Four -- counting AIAW and NCAA -- at least once. But Summitt would be the first to say you cant win even one national championship, let alone eight, without some great players. Here, we list the 10 greatest Lady Vols careers under Summitt. (We mention players professional accomplishments. But because many of Summitts players competed before the WNBA launched in 1997, they didnt all have the same pro opportunities.)1. Chamique Holdsclaw, 1995-99Summitt knew right away that the kid from Queens, New York, would be one of the most gifted players in college history. And it didnt take long for Holdsclaw, a 6-foot-2 forward, to establish herself as a go-to superstar. Midway through her freshman year, 1995-96, Holdsclaw came over to the Tennessee bench during a stoppage in play, lightly tugged on Summitts jacket and said, Coach, get me the ball!Holdsclaw led the Lady Vols to NCAA titles in 1996, 97 and 98. A rare bad shooting game against a Duke defense geared toward stopping her kept Holdsclaw from advancing to the Final Four her senior year. But she finished her Tennessee career as the programs all-time leading scorer (3,025) and rebounder (1,295) and was the No. 1 pick in the 1999 WNBA draft. She played 11 seasons in the league, averaging 16.9 points and 7.6 rebounds.Holdsclaw also has become an advocate for mental health, openly addressing her lifelong battle with depression.2. Candace Parker, 2004-08She was a different kind of player, one that had rarely been seen before in the womens game: the big woman with legitimate guard skills. At 6-4, Parker could rip down a rebound, dribble coast-to-coast and finish at the rim or dish it off to an open teammate. She could dunk, and did so at Tennessee.A knee injury sidelined her in what would have been her freshman season, 2004-05. In 2006, she and the Lady Vols lost in the Elite Eight to North Carolina. Then in 2007 and 08, Parker was the key figure in delivering Summitts last two national championships and was the Final Fours Most Outstanding Player both years.Parker then opted to turn professional with Summitts blessing. Despite playing just three seasons, Parker is Tennessees career leader in blocked shots (275), is third in scoring (2,137) and is sixth in rebounding (972).Parker was the WNBAs No. 1 draft pick in 2008. A two-time Olympic gold medalist and a two-time WNBA MVP, shes in her ninth season with the Los Angeles Sparks.3. Bridgette Gordon, 1985-89A native Floridian, Gordon was a 6-foot forward who punished defenses. She is the programs second-leading scorer (2,462) and is ninth in rebounding (915). Gordon played on Tennessees first two championship teams, in 1987 and 89.In the latter, she had one of the great performances in the history of the NCAA final, with 27 points and 11 rebounds against Auburn. She was named Final Four Most Outstanding Player that year. Tennessee went 115-21 during Gordons career and advanced to the Final Four all four of her seasons.Gordon won gold in the 1988 Olympics. With the WNBA still eight years in the future when she graduated from Tennessee, Gordon spent most of her professional career as an all-star in Italy. She played two seasons near the end of her career in the WNBA. Gordon is now an assistant to another former Lady Vol, Jody Adams, at Wichita State.4. Tamika Catchings, 1997-2001As a freshman, she became part of the Three Meeks at Tennessee, along with Chamique Holdsclaw and Semeka Randall. Catchings, a 6-2 forward, helped the Lady Vols win the 1998 national championship as Summitts only undefeated team (39-0).Tennessee also advanced to the Final Four in 2000, losing the championship game to UConn. But the Lady Vols hopes of getting that far in 2001 were dealt a blow when Catchings suffered an injury in January that ended her college career. The best was yet to come, though, for Catchings as a professional. Picked No. 3 by Indiana, she has become a civic icon in Indianapolis. Adidas Ultra Boost Shoes Cheap. She is finishing a 15-year career this season in the WNBA, where she has averaged 16.3 points and 7.4 rebounds. She was the 2011 MVP and led the Indiana Fever to the 2012 league championship. She will play on her fourth U.S. Olympic team in August.5. Daedra Charles, 1988-91The 6-3 center out of Detroit played just three seasons for the Lady Vols after missing her freshman year because of Prop 48 ineligibility at the time. But she won two national championships and the Wade Trophy for best womens college basketball player. For her career, she had 1,495 points and 858 rebounds, setting the standard for athletic, powerful post players at Tennessee.Charles was on the All-Final Four team in 1991, getting 19 points and 12 rebounds in an overtime victory against Virginia in the NCAA final.Charles played several years overseas and then competed in the inaugural season of the WNBA with the Los Angeles Sparks, appearing in the very first WNBA game. She is a former college assistant, including at Tennessee.6. Sheila Frost, 1985-89A 6-4 center from Pulaski, Tennessee, Frost was part of the Lady Vols first two NCAA title teams, in 1987 and 89. Tennessees physicality, which then-sophomore Frost contributed to, led to a nickname that the 1987 team proudly accepted. After the Lady Vols beat Long Beach State 74-65 in the national semifinals, 49ers center Cindy Brown referred to them as corn-fed chicks. The chicks then beat Louisiana Tech for the NCAA title. In 1989, the senior Frost was on the All-Final Four team as Tennessee won its second title, beating Auburn in the championship game. Frost is ninth on Tennessees all-time scoring list (1,790), third in rebounding (1,043) and second in blocked shots (249). Shes now the girls basketball coach at Life Way Christian School in Arkansas.7. Kara Lawson, 1999-2003She didnt win a national championship, but she did help lead Tennessee to the Final Four three times, all resulting in losses to UConn. The story went that Lawsons father would have preferred she go someplace like Stanford, but she was sold on playing for Summitt.Lawson was the kind of high-energy, give-100-percent player that Summitt particularly loved. She is sixth in school history in scoring (1,950) and sixth in assists (456). She has played 13 seasons in the WNBA, averaging 9.8 points and 2.5 assists. She won a WNBA title in 2005, a gold medal with the U.S. Olympic team in 2008 and also has had a successful broadcasting career at ESPN.8. Mary Ostrowski, 1980-84A 6-2 forward out of West Virginia, where she became a schoolgirl legend, Ostrowski helped the Lady Vols advance to the Final Four three times. She is 11th all-time on the Lady Vols scoring list (1,729) and fifth in rebounding (994).Ostrowski was on the All-Final Four team her senior season of 1984, when the Lady Vols lost the NCAA title game to Cheryl Miller and Southern Cal. Ostrowski had 18 points and nine rebounds in that game.Ostrowski died in 2013 at age 51 from cancer.9. Alexis Hornbuckle, 2004-08The 5-11 guard was, like Ostrowski, a standout from West Virginia. Hornbuckle was a do-everything guard who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, Including getting the putback for the winning basket against LSU in the 2008 national semifinals.Summitt preached rebounding, even from her guards, and Hornbuckle did that, finishing with 740 boards. She is fifth in school history in assists (503) and also averaged 9.7 points and 5.4 rebounds. She was the classic Summitt player: She didnt always have big numbers, but she always contributed. She was part of two NCAA title teams with Parker and has also won two championships in the WNBA.10. Semeka Randall, 1997-2001Like Catchings, this 5-10 guard out of Cleveland, Ohio, was a freshman sensation on Tennessees 39-0 team in 1998.Randall ended up seventh on Tennessees all-time scoring list (1,915), and she was a two-time All-American. Randall was especially known for her aggressive, feisty defense, and she was booed regularly by UConn fans -- which she took pride in -- when the Huskies and Lady Vols faced off.Randall played four seasons in the WNBA before retiring and going into coaching. She is now an assistant at Wright State. As the crowd erupted, Davis knocked the ball off the glass and back into his hands. With 1:14 to go in overtime, Davis sixth block also became his 17th rebound. That, along with his 32 points -- which tied a career high -- proved too much for Denver to overcome, and the Pelicans held on for their third straight victory, 111-107 on Sunday night. BALTIMORE -- For six innings, Cole Hamels dominated the Baltimore Orioles.Unfortunately for the Texas Rangers, his impressive run began after the left-hander got off to an uncharacteristically poor start.Hamels gave up three first-inning runs, and that -- along with a strong outing by Orioles right-hander Kevin Gausman -- was enough to provide Baltimore with a 3-2 victory Wednesday night.Matt Wieters had two RBI for the Orioles, whose 39-16 record at home is the best in the majors. Baltimore will seek to complete a three-game sweep on Thursday in a series between first-place teams.Baltimore took control by using three hits and two walks to jump out to a 3-1 lead. You want to be able to go out there and get ahead, Hamels said. Sometimes you are not able to find it in that first inning and that will definitely cost you. More times than not, you can try to scratch out a win, but its definitely my fault, with not being able to establish a strike zone in those key situations. After the shaky first inning, Hamels (12-3) retired 13 of the next 14 batters without allowing a hit. He ended up giving up three runs, four hits and four walks over seven innings. Not bad, but not good enough.Hamels was 7-1 in his previous 11 starts and 3-0 with a 0.84 ERA since the All-Star break.Carlos Beltran homered in his second game with Texas since being obtained in a trade with the Yankees on Monday. New catcher Jonathan Lucroy also picked up his first RBI with the Rangers, and closer Jeremy Jeffress -- obtained in the trade with Milwaukee that landed Lucroy -- spent the night in the Texas bullpen after arriving earlier in the day. After Beltran hit his 23rd homer in the first inning, Baltimore took the lead for good in the bottom half. Mark Trumbo hit an RBI groundout and Wieters added a two-run single for a 3-1 lead.Lucroy delivered an RBI single in the second to get Texas within a run, but neither team scored again. Browns Jerseys Store. Gausman (3-8) gave up two runs and seven hits in seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. The right-hander had won only two of his 18 starts this season and was coming off a horrid outing in which he allowed three homers and six runs over three innings at Toronto. And still, he was good enough to outpitch Hamels. You can give in to what conventionality says it should be like, or you can compete and look at it as an opportunity to present yourself real well, Orioles manager Buck Showalter said.Showalter summed up the victory succinctly: It wasnt like we beat (Hamels) up or anything. We had one shot at it and we took advantage of it. And our pitching made it hold up.Darren ODay worked a perfect eighth and Zach Britton finished for his 33rd save in 33 tries.Gausman -- like the Orioles -- seems to perform better at home. Hes 0-7 on the road but has won his last three starts at Camden Yards.I just feel comfortable pitching here, Gausman said.TRAINERS ROOMRangers: OF Shin-Soo Choo (lower back inflammation) hopes to be activated from the DL on Thursday. Everything feels like normal, he said. I feel like I can help this team.Orioles: Rookie OF Joey Rickard (thumb) wont be available before September. I think well get him back sometime this year, Showalter said. Its just a matter of how quickly.UP NEXTRangers: A.J. Griffin (4-1, 3.99 ERA) faces the Orioles for the first time since 2013 in the series finale Thursday night. Texas is 9-4 in his 13 starts.Orioles: Wade Miley (7-8, 4.98) makes his debut with the Orioles. Obtained on Sunday in a trade with Seattle, the 29-year-old is the lone lefty in the Baltimore rotation. TUCSON, Ariz. Nike Air Max Womens 2018 Rose . -- Arizona exhausted the helium from its surprising and soaring run to the 2014 Pac-12 South title -- and the descent might not be over. The Wildcats are 9-9 since winning the South, including a Fiesta Bowl loss to Boise State. This season, Arizona is 2-2 as it takes an injury-plagued team into Saturday nights game against UCLA at the Rose Bowl.By the end of last weeks 35-28 overtime loss to Washington, Arizona was down to its second-string quarterback, a fourth-string running back and was playing without defensive starters at nose guard, outside linebacker and safety. As of Wednesday, there was no word if any of the No. 1s would be back this week, or anytime soon. There is still too much of a gap at certain positions between the No. 1 and No. 2, coach Rich Rodriguez said. Thats our job in recruiting, to close that gap.Rodriguez has struggled against UCLA, going 0-4 against the Bruins while losing by a combined score of 170-73. UCLA is 2-2 this season, both of its losses coming against top 10 teams, Texas A&M and Stanford. The schedule stays unfriendly for Arizona. Games at No. 18 Utah, vs. USC, vs. No. 7 Stanford and at Washington State follow this weeks game. The long-term silver lining is that the Wildcats appear to have found a dynamic young quarterback in redshirt sophomore Brandon Dawkins. He took over in the second game for two-year starter Anu Solomon, who suffered a knee injury in practice after a season-opening 18-16 loss to BYU.Dawkins accounted for a 56-yard run, a 79-yard touchdown run and a 54-yard pass against Washington. He trails only Louisvilles Lamar Jackson nationally in quarterback rushing with 391 yards.Hes hard to defend, because you get him defended and he can still make plays, Washington coach Chris Petersen said Monday during his weekly press conference. You think you have angles on him, and he can outrun angles. ... Hes a problem. Theres no doubt.Dawkins has been solid in the passing game, completing 50 of 81 passes for 625 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception, but hes in danger of becoming a one-man show.Starting running back Nick Wilson has missed all but one series of the past two games because of an ankle injury. Orlando Bradford was dismissed after his arrest in a domestic violence case. And third-string running back J.J. Taylor, a freshman who ran for 168 yards against Grambling State, suffered a broken left ankle late in the third quarter against Washington.J.J. was beginning to show everyone how special he is, Rodriguez said. We had a lot of plans for our two-tailback sets. Those plans change somewhat. Injuries happen. You dont want it to all hit at the same position, but it happens. Right now, it stings. The Wildcats are also in the midst of a defensive reboot. Rodriguezs four-man defensive coaching staff is all new, led by coordinator Marcel Yates, who previously held the same position at Boise State.Early results have been mixed.Yates more aggressive scheme has contributed to nine takeaways in four games but the defense is having a hard time getting off the field, ranking 122 out of 128 teams by allowing opponents to convert 50.9 percent of their third-down chances (29 of 57).Theyre a scrappy bunch, Rodriguez said. We still need to do a lot better job of creating three-and-outs. Thats been the most frustrating thing, particularly when were trying to control the tempo and the pace. Nike Air Max Womens 2018 Red . Argentina winger Ezequiel Lavezzi and France midfielder Blaise Matuidi scored, with star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic setting up both despite having a poor game by his high standards. Forward Eduardo gave Ajaccio the lead in the sixth minute after being set up by right winger Benjamin Andre, and the Corsican side looked comfortable in the first half, with the lively Johan Cavalli causing problems with his probing runs from midfield. Nike Air Max Womens 2018 Yellow . -- Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, a day after he was suspended for an NFL substance-abuse policy violation. . The third-ranked Ivanovic, who won the event in 2008 and 10, served five aces and broke Wickmayer, also a former winner in 2009, five times. "The result looked easier than it really was," Ivanovic said. Which Test bowler called his quicker ball Mill Reef? asked Daniel Cooper from England I wouldnt have known this one but for a chance conversation with Yajurvindra Singh, the former Indian middle-order batsman perhaps best known for taking seven catches - equalling the Test record at the time - on his debut against England in Bangalore in 1976-77. Reminiscing about Bhagwath Chandrasekhar, he recalled: Another delivery was what he called Mill Reef, after the Derby horse. That was his quicker one - he bowled John Edrich with it at The Oval in 1971. The next ball was the dreaded fast, rising googly - the hardest delivery of his to face, I always thought - to Keith Fletcher, who was caught at short leg. Chandrasekhar was on his way to figures of 6 for 38 as India closed in on their first Test victory on English soil. Mill Reef (the horse) had won the Epsom Derby earlier in 1971, and a few months later came home first in the prestigious Prix de lArc de Triomphe in Paris as well. How many people have been out for 199 in a Test, as KL Rahul was in Chennai? asked Hemant Karmarkar from India The Indian opener KL Rahuls dismissal for 199 against England in Chennai on Sunday was the ninth instance of this in all Tests, all of them since October 1984, when Pakistans Mudassar Nazar was caught behind against India in Faisalabad. The next one - and the only other Indian to be out for 199 - was Mohammad Azharuddin, against Sri Lanka in Kanpur in 1986-87. Since then it also happened to Matthew Elliott (1997), Sanath Jayasuriya (1997-98), Steve Waugh (1998-99), Younis Khan (2005-06), Ian Bell (2008) and Steven Smith (2015). Neither Azharuddin nor Elliott ever did make a Test double-century. Andy Flower (for Zimbabwe against South Africa in Harare in 2001-02) and Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka v Pakistan in Galle in 2012) have both been left stranded on 199 not out.At Chennai, Parthiv Patel kept wicket for 157.2 overs and then came straight back out to open the batting. Was this a record? asked Rahul Yadav from IndiaParthiv Patels impressive effort in the final Test against England in Chennai turns out to be some way short of this particular record. In the third Test against New Zealand in Cape Town in 1953-54, South Africas John Waite kept wicket for 165.3 overs then came out to open. And those were eight-ball overs, so he was behind the stumps for 1323 deliveries to Parthivs 944. But Parthiv did much better in one respect: he grafted to 71, while Waite was out for 8.I noticed that Dan Vettori took 116 Test wickets while he was captain. Is this a record for (a) New Zealand, and (b) everyone? asked James Morton from New Zealand Daniel Vettoris 116 wickets while captain is a record for New Zealand - next comes John Reid, with 54 - but hes only fourth overall. One wicket in front is Garry Sobers, with 117 from 39 matches in charge, while Richie Benaud took 138 in 28. But top of the list is Imran Khan, whose 48 Tests as Pakistans captain brought him 187 wickets. There are four others with more than 100 wickets as skipper: Kapil Dev (111), Wasim Akram (107), Bishan Bedi (106) and Shaun Pollock (103). Akram leads the way in ODIs, with 158 wickets while captain; next come Pollock (134) andd Imran (131), before Waqar Younis with 97. Nike Air Max Womens 2018 90. Virat Kohli scored a double-century against New Zealand in October, and another one against England in December. Was this the shortest period between Test double-centuries by a player? asked Allan Alexander from the United States I was rather surprised to discover that there have been as many as 17 instances of a batsman scoring two double-centuries in a Test series. But I was slightly less surprised to discover that Don Bradman did it four times - in England in 1930 (when his scores included 254, 334 and 232), at home to South Africa in 1931-32, and in successive Ashes series in 1934 and 1936-37. Wally Hammond managed it twice: in Australia in 1928-29, and in New Zealand in 1932-33, when his two innings there were 227 in Christchurch and 336 not out in Auckland. Since then, only Michael Clarke has done it more than once: both at home, against India in 2011-12 and South Africa in 2012-13. The following have managed it once: Vinoo Mankad (India v New Zealand in 1955-56), Glenn Turner (New Zealand in West Indies in 1971-72), Viv Richards (West Indies in England in 1976), Gordon Greenidge (West Indies in England in 1984), Graeme Smith (South Africa in England in 2003), Ricky Ponting (Australia v India in 2003-04), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka v Bangladesh in 2007), Thilan Samaraweera (Sri Lanka in Pakistan in 2008-09) and Brendon McCullum (New Zealand v India in 2013-14). Of these, the closest pair were scored by Smith, who in 2003 reached 200 on his way to 277 at Edgbaston on July 26, and by the end of August 1 had 214 of his eventual 259 at Lords. The quickest repeat double-centuries for India were, like Kohlis, not scored in the same series: in 1993 Vinod Kambli was out for 224 against England in Mumbai on February 22, and reached 227 against Zimbabwe in Delhi on March 15. Mankads pair in 1955-56 were completed on December 3 and January 7.Apparently Liam Dawsons 66 at Chennai was the highest score by an England No. 8 on debut. Who held the record before? And has anyone from another country scored a hundred from there? asked Elliott Wilson from England Before Liam Dawsons plucky 66 in the fifth Test against India in Chennai, the highest score by an England debutant batting at No. 8 was 59, by David Bairstow - Jonnys father - also against India, at The Oval in 1979. Dawsons effort, however, comes well down the overall list, which is headed by the New Zealander James Neesham. He marked his debut with an undefeated 137 against India in Wellington in 2013-14. Six other Test debutants have scored centuries from No. 8: Azhar Mahmood (128 not out for Pakistan v South Africa in Rawalpindi in 1997-98), Roger Hartigan (116 for Australia v England in Adelaide in 1907-08), Deepak Shodhan (110 for India v Pakistan in Calcutta in 1952-53), Scott Styris (107 for New Zealand v West Indies in St Georges in 2002), Bruce Taylor (105 for New Zealand v India in Calcutta in 1964-65) and Thilan Samaraweera (103 not out for Sri Lanka v India in Colombo in 2001).Post your questions in the comments below Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

The Spring Racing Carnival is now behind us for 2016. Youth Air Max Sale . It left racing fans across Australia and the world with many great memories of fantastic racing on the track and many great performances by highly gifted and, in some cases, some very expensive thoroughbreds. Some will go on to even greater heights, such as Winx, whom we are all hoping can stretch her Cox Plate streak to a record-equaling three wins next October. Similarly, Guineas and Derby-winning colts and fillies will be looking to see their stock prices reach new peaks with even richer successes. But for some horses, their racing careers might be coming to an end. What happens then? An event in Melbourne this week -- Equitana -- showcases just how horses, successful or unsuccessful on the track, can continue their competitive prospects in some very positive ways.Beginning on Thursday, Equitana is a four-day competition and exhibition with shows and events for everything equine; from stock horses to brumbies and thoroughbreds in show jumping to barrel racing. If you like horses of all sorts, and can get to Melbourne, then ESPN may now have sorted your weekend for you.A key part of Equitana will be participation of thoroughbreds in the off the track showjumping and showing showcases -- a program spearheaded by Racing Victoria, the governing body of thoroughbred racing in that state. One competitor who will garner a lot interest is Sirmione, formerly trained by 12-time Melbourne Cup-winning trainer and racing legend, the late Bart Cummings.Twice a Group 1 winner, Sirmione won the 2007 Mackinnon Stakes in an upset result at 60-1 and the 2008 Australian Cup, both over 2000 metres at Flemington. A life at stud was never an option for the gelding but a career in other competitive sport was; and he has become comparatively successful. He was a very well put together animal, Peter Mertens, who rode Sirmione to both Group 1 wins, told ESPN. He always had show stamped on him.Ive seen some of them coming through racing and they dont do too well as a winning prospect on the track but theyve been very good at showjumping, added the seven-time Group 1-winning jockey who now enjoys his own retirement from race riding. He used to get around the mounting yard and carry himself really well. He had that look about him. He was always on his toes and had that really good look about him. It is no surprise at all that hes gone on to do well there.Mertens said he rated Sirmione one of the best horses that he had achieved such high levels of success aboard. From his racing days spent at Cummings stable at Flemington, Sirmione is now under the care of Off The Track trainer Fiona McIntyre; he calls Inverleigh home, west of Melbourne.McIntyre is a trainer of show horses who has also now turned her attention to re-training thoroughbreds towards new horizons. Not all ex-racehorses have the temperament to go onto these [different] disciplines, McIntyre said. Sirmione took to showing incredibly well. His transition from being a racehorse to was one of the easiest that I have been involved in.He behaves and doesnt bat an eye lid on the big stages; he goes out and performs every time.Sirmione enjoyed a second placing at last years Adelaide Show. There has some very negative press over time on the treatment of horses in their post-racing days, and historically there were few options for thoroughbreds to continue in a competitive environment. Racing Victorias manager of equine welfare Raelene Harrison says there has been significant progress made in the past few years to bring about positive change.Harrison said that 40 re-trainers had been accredited under Off The Track since the program commenced in 2012, and Racing Victoria hoped to see 20 more in the next 18 months.A challenge for racings authorities has been to pave a way for the growing number of horses retiring and steering them towards other positive opportunities. Many more thoroughbreds are now going into new stables and mixing it with other breeds. Some take to it, others dont.Success on the track isnt necessarily a pre-requisite for success off of it, but Sirmione is leading the charge on the for retired racehorses on the equestrian stage while another blue-riband performer, 2006 Group 1 Australian Derby winner Headturner, is leading a sedate life as a pleasure-riding horse for a 75-year-old lady on the Victoria beachside suburb of Leongatha. The competitive circuit is expanding. These horses have had the opportunity to return to the races in their current pursuits at demonstration events held during racemeetings at Caulfield and Mornington. Spectators have been able to get up close to showjumping events with temporary, but attractive, courses set up on the public lawns.Precedence is another Cummings-trained successful galloper who is destined to perform off the track under McIntyres care. The gelding notched two wins in the Group 2 Moonee Valley Cup (2500m) and ran in four Melbourne Cups, with his best result a sixth placing in 2014. A year after retiring from racing, McIntyre is about to embark on the geldings retraining towards a showjumping career. The expansion and willingness of thoroughbred racing participants to progress their retired chargers to showing or dressage has been a boost for the competitive equine industries, too.To be fair, we only used to get the slow ones who didnt make it into our stables but now there are top-line performers like Sirmione coming through, McIntyre said.Equitana Melbourne is being held at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds until Sunday. The thoroughbreds will take centre stage on Friday and Sunday. Cheap Blue Air Max . Miller finished in two minutes, 6.09 seconds, one day before the first medal race on the Alpine schedule. The 36-year-old American also turned in the top time in Thursdays opening training session. Nike Air Max 2017 . -- Playing time has been limited for Maxim Tissot this season, so the Montreal Impact defender made the most of his first scoring opportunity on Saturday. . Carey Price didnt, but he still came out on top against one of his rivals for the No. 1 job at the Sochi Games. The Anahim Lake, B.C., native was stellar in making 39 saves in his home province and Lars Eller got credit for a bizarre short-handed winner as the Canadiens defeated the Canucks 4-1. BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron expects star running back Leonard Fournette to practice Monday and return to the lineup this week.Fournette has missed three games this season, including the last two, because of a nagging ankle injury he initially suffered in an August scrimmage.Although he expects Fournette back, Orgeron is unsure whether the former Heisman Trophy contender will be at full strength when No. 25 LSU (4-2, 2-1 SEC) hosts No. 23 Ole Miss (3-3, 1-2) on Saturday at Tiger Stadium (9 p.m. ET, ESPN).I dont know how much hes going to be able to do, to be honest with you, Orgeron said Monday. We have to go watch him in practice. Were going to let him do all he can and hes going to tell me, Hey coach, Im 100 percent, 80 percent, 90 percent. These are the things I can do. Were going to run the plays that he can run. The plays that hes not able to run, we wont run them.Fournette ran for 100-plus yards in all three games in which he played this season, but he was still visibly struggling to overcome the ankle injury. He has not played since the Sept. 24 loss at Auburn, giving him a month between games should he play on Saturday. That absence took a toll on the Tigers star, Orgeron said. You can feel the fire in him, Orgeron said. I guess the injury took a toll on him mentally and physically. He felt like he couldnt help his team. Cheap Air Max 95. He wanted to help his team, he wanted to be a part of the new things that were going on and he did help me at halftime, he was helping on the sideline. I know hes going to help us with that ball in his hand.Orgeron is 2-0 since taking over as LSUs coach following Les Miles firing the day after the Auburn game. Although Fournette did not play in either game -- two 35-point wins over Missouri and Southern Miss -- sophomore Derrius Guice has been a capable replacement. In three starts while Fournette was sidelined, Guice ran for six touchdowns and averaged 160 rushing yards per game and 9.2 yards per carry. Orgeron said LSU will rotate the two backs once Fournette returns in hopes of keeping them fresh and added that both might even play at the same time at some point. For now, Orgeron is hesitant to make predictions over Fournettes workload until he sees how the ankle holds up over a week of practice.Maybe he could have pushed it the last couple weeks, but we didnt, Orgeron said. I think he has a bright future, but he wants to help the team. So wed better see in practice. I think those are the things that we have to figure out, and I think he will tell me the truth. New Jordans 2017, NYC-based creative Bloody Osiris took it to social medial to flex with an on-foot look at the upcoming OFF-WHITE Air Jordan 1 in White that's scheduled to drop late February. Virgil Abloh's OFF WHITE x Air Jordan 1 in white is rumored to release on February 27th, 2018 in highly limited quantities. The designer of "The Ten" confirmed during Nike's OFF CAMPUS discussions that his original choice for the AJ1 was actually white, but chose to go for the more iconic "Chicago" theme for what amounted to be one of the most hyped shoe drops in history.
Jordan Retro Shoes, This Air Jordan 1 by Virgil Abloh features the same detailing as the "Chicago" pair that dropped in 2017, which was considered the "Shoe of the Year." Going with an all-White color scheme, the shoe includes hits of Blue and Orange for a nice added contrast. Famed street designed Virgil doesn’t hold back with a deconstructed style that transforms the classic 70s basketball silhouette into a modern day masterpiece. The leather crafted pieces fit together in a rugged, patch-work effect that somehow works surprisingly well.
Cheap Jordans 2017, The collection's Air Jordan 1 sneaker was honored as the Shoe of the Year at November's Footwear News Achievement Awards. That model — along with many other sneakers in "The Ten" — have been favorites of celebrities including Drake, Roger Federer and Bella Hadid. The Off-White Air Jordan 1 is just as unique as you'd expect for a brand which is characterised by oversized branding and industrial-inspired insignia. Instantly, you'll notice the "AIR" lettering which is stamped to the midsole. And that's just a minor detail compared with some of the eye-catching accents found on this Air Jordan 1.
